Sedum Plants growing in a grouping next to a boulder.

By Dalton Quigley

The plant in the above image is a form of Sedum. Sedum is a desert plant and one of the great reasons to have it in the landscape is how easy it is to maintain. One piece broken off can start a new area of sedum so it won’t be hard to get more going if you decide to. There are many low growing sedums that can be used for ground cover next to a boulder like Sedum Angelina, and Blue Spruce Sedum. I hope you find a use for this wonderful plant in your ladnscape or garden especially next to boulders. For more info about Sedums Go Here -> Better Homes and Gardens Sedum Page.
